Fashion brands and Instagram go hand in hand. Arguably, there's no better platform for fashion brands to really implement their fashion communication skills to the best of their abilities. The image led nature and simplistic layout of Instagram lends itself perfectly to fashion communication but a brand's instagram is only as successful as the content they produce on the platform. Some brands really haven't understood the importance and connection between a highly curated, successful insta feed but there are two brands that are excelling in this area ; high street brand Zara and luxury design house, Chanel.

你也许会怀疑Zara真的有这么神奇吗? Zara每隔短短两周时间就能出潮流新款,而且价格也不会高得太离谱。消费者为什么青睐Zara,最基本的就是Zara的设计总是不会让人失望,而且频繁的上新总能保持新鲜感。当然这也不是Zara取得全球性成功的唯一原因, 毕竟还有很多竞相效仿Zara商业模式的品牌,但是没有一家能达到Zara的高度。因为Zara不仅仅是产品好而已,背后还有卓越的营销策略的支撑,以及最根本的是对时尚传播的深刻理解和巧妙运用。

You'd be forgiven for thinking Zara can do no wrong. Stunning, on trend designs released every two weeks at a reasonable price. The majority of us flock straight to Zara on a regular basis because their designs are consistently great and the constant update of their collections means there's always something new to see. However, that isn't the only reason for Zara's worldwide success, after all, many other brands strive to copy their business model and yet they don't receive anywhere near the kind of accolade Zara does. The truth is, underneath their well received products is a stellar marketing strategy that all stems from an excellent grasp of what fashion communication is and how it can be used best.
